Looking to support local, try out this fantastic mom and pop shop serving up some delicious banh mi and other viet dishes! Every time I come here, the food is made quick and it always tastes good and fresh. It's super small inside with no tables or chairs, so it is definitely a grab and go place. I recommend calling in an order and picking it up!

Got the chance to drop by this place for a quick combo banh mi. They did not serve pad see ew, or pad thai anymore as they did previously. I wanted to try out their chicken noodle soup but apparently they ran out of all of the soups and only had chow mein and banh mi available. The banh mi was good and flavorful, i did think there could be a little more pickled veggies in the sandwich but otherwise still good! Parking is a bit of a pain, as the parking lot has steep entrances and exits. The lines are also extremely faded, so be careful parking! The service was nice and fast, it is cheaper than most places around here. For items outside of the banh mi, still have yet to try! The inside is mostly just the kitchen with a small fridge on the side, this is NOT a sit down restaurant please keep in mind! Just a drop by place for to go orders :)

It's a small family owned place but everything I order is always good. My go to is the Curry Chicken Sandwich with an egg on top sometimes with a Vietnamese iced coffee or Thai iced tea. Service is amazing, idk how but the lady remembered me and even mentioned how I haven't been around lately (due to me getting a new job). Pro tip: ordering ahead on the phone saves you time especially on lunch breaks from work. They only accept cash or debit, mentioning that credit cards charge them an additional amount but please support them

Local mom and pop shop in Pinole serving a variety of Asian foods. My go to order here is the grilled chicken. They have this sauce they put in the grilled chicken banh mi that make the sandwich in my opinion. I've also order a few other things like the chow mein and it is also very good. I think this place might be cash only. They might take debit. Ample parking is available.

This may be slightly bias but the owners spoke the same dialect my Grandparents spoke. Excellent sandwich! Favorite bread of all the places in the area, fresh crispy with a soft chew and served warm and toasty. I got the grilled pork with an iced coffee. Really satisfying sandwich. The pork had a good char and was complimented to perfection by the pickled veggies and mayo. Also ordered the nem nuong, but will eat it later. Can't believe I never tried this place. Been living in the area since 2005... and it's about to be 2022 Update: Their Nem Nuong (Pork Sausage) is bomb af! Real flavorful! I liked it better than the grilled pork, which is my usual favorite at other places in comparison to it. The sausage patties are handmade, telling aside from the flavor by their non-uniform shape. Wish I could get their recipe! Bummed that they close Sundays! I wanted to get another!

UPDATE: This location only takes Debit Cards now. They do not accept Credit Cards anymore. Be prepare to have your Debit Card or Cash. I discover this place while driving on San Pablo Ave. I did not know that this place existed. I only knew two locations that served Vietnamese Foods in Pinole. I had their Vietnamese Sandwich. It was OK. I am not going to go insane about the sandwich but it was good. The location is in an isolated area of Pinole. The only stores nearby are a smoke shop, bar, and car wash. This location not only serves Vietnamese Food but also Chinese Food. Give Mint Vietnamese Sandwiches & Deli a try.
